Can we stop anywhere at anytime?
Unlike large bus tours if you see something that catches your eye and
you want to stop and investigate just let your driver know. We want you to have
the time of your life.
Why should I choose Taste of Tuscany Tours?
Unlike most tour operators we specialize in personalized tours. We want
to get to know you and what you like and dislike so we can create a truly unique
and memorable experience.
Do you take Credit Cards?
We accept Visa and MasterCard.
Why do you quote rates in Euros?
We quote rates in Euros because conversion rates can vary from day to
day, month to month. If you reserve a tour six months in advance and we quote
you a price in dollars the conversion rate may have changed by then (up or down).
Where is Taste of Tuscany Tours based?
Taste of Tuscany Tours is a US based company located outside of Washington,
DC.
When do you charge me for my tour?
We charge a 25% deposit at the time of booking and the balance 30 days
prior to your tour dates.
How much does a tour cost?
Since we specialize in custom tours and no two tours are alike in destination
or duration we ask that you contact us and tell us what you would like see and
do so we can quote you a price.
Do you offer half day or whole day tours?
We offer both half and full day tours.
Does Taste of Tuscany Tours provide point to point transportation?
We can provide transportation to and from airports, ports, cities and
towns in Tuscany, or as far away as Rome, Venice and Milan.
Why shouldn't I just rent a car?
Renting a car and driving in Italy can be expensive (the cost of gas
in Europe is $3 to $5 a gallon), nerve racking, and at times very stressful.
You never have to worry about looking at a map, finding parking or asking for
directions. We take the hassle and stress out of your vacation and let you focus
on having the time of your life.
We are thinking about traveling to Tuscany any suggestions where we
should stay?
We recommend staying in Florence, with its central location it makes
the perfect base for touring the countryside. In addition to being centrally
located Florence is a beautiful city with wide selection of wonderful restaurants
and shops for you to explore in the evening.
There are a lot of toll roads in Italy am I responsible for paying
the tolls?
No, we factor all incidental fees into your tour price.
What if my spouse likes playing golf and I like shopping?
No problem. We can recommend a course and drop off your spouse and take
you shopping.

What if I have a problem while I am in Italy?
We think of everything -- that is what makes us Taste of Tuscany Tours.
In the unlikely event that you have a problem or wish to book additional services
while you are there we provide you with a Rome based number that forwards your
call back to us in the US.
